Gird With The Word
We cannot put on the full armour of God unless we learn the Word. Every part of the armour is dependent on the truth of God as contained in His Word.
Challenge at least one of your friends, family, or church members to learn the Word with you. It’s the one thing every believer should do and the last thing the devil wants us to do.
Let us know how your challenge is going. Encouraging others is part of how we learn the Word. And don’t forget, if you have a favourite verse you’d like to share, or if you are looking for a verse that will help in a particular situation, use the comments to let us know. The Gird With The Word Challenge is interactive and we’d all love to hear from you.
Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age,[a] against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. (Ephesians 6:11-13)
